Oddly this was a much harder walk than Saturday especially down from the Shooting Lodge 2.8k to about 4.5k, and then back up from Lofthouse. Even so everything was made much better by home made chips and assorted sandwiches, decent real ale and the most amazing furnace-like fire in the pub.
