Reflections at Launde II

It was really getting dark by the time this one was taken. The ISO was pushing it on the D200 (which really is poor in low light) so I did a b&w conversion in Capture NX.

Point of Reflection

My favourite from the series. Processed in NX with the contrast sharply enhanced and then colour adjusted to blue.  Most people seem to dislike this image because of teh amount of post processing in it.

On Reflection

More reflections from Launde Abbey. This one is has simple PS processing to create the negative image, the levels are pulled a little to get the hard whites and blacks. I then rotated it to just slightly twist the image you get when you first look at it. Not really sure about this one...

Meditation and Observation

I did a series of reflection photos on the same January day. I like this one becuase at first glance it looks like a straightforward photograph rather than a reflection. The reflections appear to take you into "another world", the mirror-image that is not quite a mirror.  There again maybe it is just a simple reflection...

Little weed

Taken on the same day as below with fill in flash

Storm clouds

I really do not like Winter - too cold and not enough light. But in England it can sometimes give clear bright days, not this day though...

The sepia effect is created with Nikon Capture NX.
